Hello, Internet users, welcome to my website. My name is Janusz, I live in Poland, and I am also a citizen of this country.

On May 18, 1993 I had a car accident, as a result of which things came to such a point that I have to live with a spinal cord injury and cervical vertebrae fracture at C2 and C3 levels with the fracture of the dens of the epistropheus.

The injuries caused in the accident were tetraplegia and respiratory failure. In brief, only my brain works properly now. I have been breathing by means of mechanical ventilators for 14 years. 3 years after my accident, Christopher Reeve suffered similar spinal cord injury. He spent $1.5 million a year on his rehabilitation. I am an average Polish person and function in this world primarily thanks to my great parents, who - if needs be - are my doctors, physiotherapists, and masseurs, but first of all they are the carers 24 hours a day.
